Special Trains on These Major Routes Extended Till June End

In a move that is sure to delight passengers, Railways has extended the services of as many as 94 special trains till June end.

These extended trains run on several major routes including Pune – Darbhanga, New Delhi – Manduadih, Shalimar – Gorakhpur and Howrah – Jammu Tawi amongst several others.

Of the 94 extended trains, 18 are operated by the Eastern Railway, 52 are operated by the North Eastern Railway and the remaining 24 are operated by the North Central Railway.

52 Trains Extended by the North Eastern Railway

The North Eastern Railway, which primarily provides train services in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, has extended the services of as many as 52 trains under its jurisdiction. This includes both Special and Puja Special trains.
