Railways Extends Trains, Adds Coaches on Major Routes
In view of the consistently growing passenger demand, multiple Railway zones recently made various announcements about train extensions and coach additions. Scroll down to know more about these updates.

> The Central Railway tweeted about extending four services that connect Mumbai with Manmad and Balharshah.
- Train no. 02101 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Manmad Superfast Special will be operational until 31st March.
- Train no. 02102 Manmad–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Superfast Special will be operational until 31st March.
- Train no. 01127 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Balharshah Special will be operational until 28th March.
- Train no. 01128 Balharshah–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special will be operational until 29th March.
> The Northeast Frontier Railway also confirmed the extension of a pair of trains.

> To accommodate a higher number of passengers, the Eastern Railway has added coaches to two services.
Starting from 9th January, train nos. 12041/12042 Howrah–New Jalpaiguri–Howrah Shatabdi Express are now running with one extra AC Chair Car coach in each direction.
