The South Eastern Railway is inviting applications for 1785 posts of apprentices. The application process will close on 2nd February at 5 PM.

Here are the complete details:

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant should be an Indian national. 
• The applicant must be at least 15 years old and not older than 24 years, as of 1st January 2023. The age as recorded in matriculation or birth certificate will be taken into consideration for this.
• The upper age limit has been relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, and by 3 years for OBC candidates. 
• A relaxation of 10 years is provided to Person with Disability (PWD) candidates.
• The upper age limit is relaxed up to an additional 10 years for ex-servicemen based on the extent of their service in the Defence Forces, plus 3 years if they have served for at least 6 months at a stretch.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have completed matriculation or 10th class in the 10+2 examination system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (excluding additional subjects) from a recognised board.

They must also have an ITI pass certificate from the National Council for Vocational Training or the State Council for Vocational Training in the trade, in which they want to apprentice.

Application Fee: ₹100 (non-refundable)

SC/ST/PWD/Women applicants don’t have to pay any fee. The payment should be made online.
