Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must be at least 15 years old and not older than 24 years.

Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates.

The upper age limit is relaxed by 10 more years for ex-servicemen, depending on the extent of their service in the Defence Forces, plus 3 years if they served for at least 6 months at a stretch.

Educational Qualifications

The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board.

They should also possess the National Trade Certificate in one of the following trades issued by NVCT/SVCT –

Welder (Gas and Electric), Sheet Metal Worker, Lineman, Wireman, Carpenter, Painter (General).

SC/ST/PwBD/Women applicants don’t have to pay any fee.
