Latest Travel Guidelines for 5 Indian Destinations

Amid the recent spike in COVID cases, the travel rules for many Indian destinations are constantly changing. 

To avoid any confusion and hassle while travelling, here are the updated guidelines for Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Jammu & Kashmir

Domestic travellers will have to undergo RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen Test on arrival at the Srinagar Airport.

Following category of passengers are exempted from the test –

  1. Double dose vaccinated passengers carrying valid and verifiable final certificate
  2. Passengers carrying negative RTPCR report with scannable QR Code of 72 hours duration

Passengers with a history of international travel will have to undergo a mandatory RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen test. They will have to stay in quarantine till the results are declared i.e. for about 36 hours.

Tamil Nadu 

Tamil Nadu has announced a complete lockdown on Sundays until 31st January. The state will observe one on 16th January this weekend, during which only essential services will be allowed.
