Several trains cancelled, short terminated & diverted by Railways

The Indian Railways has cancelled several train services due to non-interlocking work in the Jhansi – Kanpur Central line and waterlogging in West Bengal caused by heavy rainfall.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has advised passengers to make a note of the affected trains so as to avoid any problems while travelling.

Due to non-interlocking work for doubling between Chaura – Pokhraya – Malasa stations on Jhansi – Kanpur Central section of the North Central Railway, seven trains have been cancelled and nine trains are being diverted.

Here’s the list of cancelled trains:

> Train no. 09465 Ahmedabad  –  Darbhanga Special has been cancelled for 24th September

> Train no. 09466 Darbhanga – Ahmedabad Special has been cancelled for 27th September

> Train no. 02575 Hyderabad – Gorakhpur Special has been cancelled for 24th September

> Train no. 02576 Gorakhpur – Hyderabad Special has been cancelled for 26th September

> Train no. 05102 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Chhapra Special has been cancelled for 23rd September

> Train no. 02579 Gorakhpur – Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Special has been cancelled for 28th September

> Train no. 02598 Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus – Gorakhpur has been cancelled for today (22nd) and for 29th September
