Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal & Chhattisgarh Change Entry Rules
Air travellers must take note of today’s top domestic travel updates, as three major states revise entry rules and travel requirements.
The three states are Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh, and they have tightened the entry requirements keeping the safety of citizens in mind.

Himachal Pradesh
The holiday-favourite state has issued new guidelines for incoming tourists. As per the official order, all tourists visiting Himachal are advised to carry their vaccination certificate (single or double dose) or a negative RT-PCR test report issued within 72 hours:

West Bengal
The West Bengal government has also tightened the entry rules for incoming travellers.
Starting from August 8, all flight passengers arriving at the Kolkata Airport from Pune, Mumbai and Chennai will be required to show a negative RT-PCR report issued within 72 hours of departure. This report will need to be shown at the time of boarding the flight.
Passengers coming from all other domestic destinations except the above three will be required to show at the time of boarding either a proof of full vaccination (two doses) or a negative RT-PCR report with the test conducted within 72 hours of departure.
Chhattisgarh
Chhattisgarh has also made a negative RT-PCR report compulsory for incoming flight passengers. It is important to note that passengers who have received both doses of the vaccine will also have to produce a negative RT-PCR report. The test for such reports must have been conducted within 96 hours of travel.
