Himachal, Maharashtra, Punjab, 4 More Destinations Change Entry Rules
As many as seven Indian destinations have changed their entry requirements for incoming travellers this week.
These destinations are: Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Surat, Maharashtra, Assam and Mizoram.

Himachal Pradesh
The hill state has yet again updated its entry guidelines. All visitors to the state will now be required to register online on the state portal covid19pass.hp.gov.in. Travellers must note that daily/weekend commuters are also not exempted from registration. Check the entire order in detail below:

Punjab & Chandigarh
As per a new update shared by Vistara on Twitter, passengers travelling to Punjab and the union territory of Chandigarh will now be required to carry a negative RT-PCR test report with sample collection done within 72 hours of the scheduled arrival.
However, in case the passengers have a final vaccination certificate (two doses), they will be exempted from carrying the RT-PCR test report:

Surat
Similar to the guidelines for Punjab and Chandigarh, travellers arriving in Surat will be required to carry a negative RT-PCR test report issued within 72 hours (counted from the time of swab collection).
Travellers carrying their final vaccination certificate (two doses) however, will be exempted from this:

Maharashtra
Maharashtra has slightly modified its entry guidelines. Those travellers who are arriving in the state with a final vaccination certificate, with their second dose taken at least 15 days before entry, are exempted from carrying a negative RT-PCR test report.
However, for other travellers who are required to carry a negative RT-PCR test report, the validity has been reduced from 72 hours to 48 hours:

Assam
The Assam government has announced that all incoming travellers who have been fully vaccinated (two doses) and have a certificate for the same will be exempted from mandatory testing on arrival in the state. However, they must also carry a negative RT-PCR test report (sample taken within 72 hours of arrival).
Please note that all symptomatic passengers will have to undergo mandatory RT-PCR testing on arrival in the state, at their own cost:

Mizoram
Mizoram has allowed tourist lodges, hotels, homestays and other accommodation units in the state to open from August 15. Check the registration rules, quarantine guidelines and exemptions for incoming travellers to the state below:
