Special Trains For The Summer!
After observing an enormous turnout of train travellers during Holi, Railways has decided to run Summer Specials starting first week of April between Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Udhampur, Darbhanga, Katra and other stations. This step would help Indian Railways deal with heavy rush as told by an NRI official.

1. A tri-weekly Suvidha AC Express will run between Old Delhi and Katra from 2nd April to 30 June 2016 (78 up and down trips).
Departure– Delhi : 11:05 PM (Mon,Thu, Sat)
Arrival– Katra : 12:15 PM (Tue, Fri, Sun)
Return Departure–Katra : 08:15 PM (Tue, Fri, Sun)
Arrival–Delhi : 10:15 PM (Wed, Sat, Mon)
Stoppages at Panipat, Ambala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Pathankot, Jammu Tawi, Udhampur.
2. A weekly AC Superfast Express summer special between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Pune (26 trips).
3. A bi-weekly AC Superfast Express between Delhi and Darbhanga.
4. A weekly AC Superfast Suvidha Express between Ahmedabad and Sarai Rohilla.
5. A bi-weekly Superfast Express between New Delhi and Mumbai Central (32 trips).
6. A bi-weekly AC Superfast Express between New Delhi and Barauni.
