COVID guidelines: Maharashtra and Haryana release latest rules

>To contain the rapid surge in COVID cases, Maharashtra government has announced curfew-like restrictions on the movement of people in the state from April 14 to May 1.

However, public transport, including airplanes, trains, taxis (50% capacity) and bus services (full seating capacity/no standing passengers) will continue to run.
For all persons travelling in public transport, wearing masks is compulsory. Offenders will be fined a certain amount. 


In case of out-station trains, railway authorities are to ensure that there are no standing passengers in the general compartment and all passengers use masks.


Persons arriving/departing by any bus/flight/train from or towards the place of residence may travel on the basis of a valid ticket through any public transport. Local trains and bus services will also continue to run for essential services.
